Privacy Policy

How ArmaBio collects, uses and protects the personal information you share with us through this website.

1. Scope

This policy covers the ArmaBio website and the enquiries and applications you send us through it. Information we receive under a separate agreement with a partner or customer is governed by that agreement. The website is operated by Arma Biosciences Inc. (“ArmaBio”, “we”, “us”).

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you use the contact or partnership form, or apply for a role, we receive what you enter: your name, work email address, company, the topic you choose and your message.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, the pages requested and when — to run and protect the site.

3. How we use it

  • to reply to your enquiry and follow it up;
  • to consider an application for a role;
  • to run, secure and improve the site;
  • to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Why we are allowed to

We handle personal information with your consent, which you give when you send us an enquiry or application; because we have a legitimate interest in running the site and following up on business enquiries; and where the law requires us to.

5. Who we share it with

Service providers that host the site and deliver our email, who act on our instructions; professional advisers where we need their help; and public authorities where the law requires. We do not share personal information with anyone else.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries: for as long as we need to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Applications: up to twelve months after the process ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or agree that we keep them for future roles. Server logs: a short, fixed period set by our hosting provider.

7. Where it is processed

Our providers may process information outside the country you live in, including in Canada and the United States. Where the law requires, we use recognised safeguards for those transfers.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us — we may need to confirm your identity first. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

9. Cookies

The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not run third-party analytics. If that changes, this policy will say so and, where required, we will ask for your consent first.

10. Security

We protect personal information with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections and access limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

11. Children

The site is not aimed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Our Terms of Use cover the use of the site itself.

13. Contact
